The Inspiration: The quintessential Thanksgiving Day cigar. Turducken takes its name from the wonderfully excessive American holiday creation: a chicken stuffed inside a duck stuffed inside a turkey.
The Approach: We built the cigar the same way the dish gets built, layering tobacco inside tobacco inside tobacco until the whole thing turned into something bigger than the sum of its parts.
The Blend: A Nicaraguan Jalapa Maduro wrapper for sweetness, earthy Mexican San Andrés underneath, and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers stacked together for cocoa, roasted nuts, herbs, spice and savory richness.
The Size: A massive 6 x 60 Gordo, because the biggest eating day of the year does not call for restraint.
The Point: Big, ridiculous, indulgent and completely unnecessary. In other words, Thanksgiving.
