UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER 2025 is a full-bodied, med/full-strength 6.25x50 toro extra. The wrapper is a 12-year-aged Sumatra Maduro leaf. Fillers are secret...but are all aged between 6-14 years!
First light begins with gorgeous notes of dark cocoa, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla bean, buttercream, and black pepper. Immediately following are white chocolate, nutmeg, red oak, and macadamia nut. The finish adds a lingering creamy richness. The retrohale brings a spicy cinnamon burn.
As it progresses, dark chocolate, pie crust, aged leather, and mocha appear. The blend rounds out with notes of heavy whipping cream, all-spice, and raw honey. (Aged tobacco flavor starts to really shine through.)
Halfway, the cigar strength increases along with the richness. Caramel, cafe latte, candied almond, and maple wood are added to the mix. Hints of chocolate chips, bourbon, and cashews wash over the palate on the very clean finish.
The last third everything increases even more! Cinnamon stick, egg nog, and cloves emerge. Flavors of sweet tea, black pepper, and custard make the complexity hard to even describe! All I can say is "Wow!"
